Outcome Data from Unaccredited Institutions –
A Facilitated Conversation

Some states are beginning to look at student outcome data for unaccredited institutions more closely, collecting the data for a few years and preparing to move forward with a more critical evaluation of what is being reported. Join NASASPS for a conversation with other states in a similar situation to hear what one another does and engage in some conversation about it.

Please come prepared to share your experiences, thoughts, plans, etc. related to outcome data from unaccredited institutions.  The following questions will be part of a facilitated conversation:

• Does your agency/state collect outcome/placement data of graduates at unaccredited institutions?
• What statutes or rules govern your collection and use of outcome data?
  
• What do you do with the data when you collect it?
  
• Do you verify the data you collect? If so, how?
• Do you provide any resources to the institutions to assist them with the collection and reporting of the data?
• Are there any consequences associated with not complying with reporting or meeting minimum expectations/standards for placement?
